貓 - Cat
Today's Chinese word of the day is 貓 which means cat.
In Mandarin 貓 is pronounced Māo, which is also the sound a cat makes in Chinese culture.
那隻黑貓太可怕了 Nà zhī hēi māo tài kěpàle - That black cat is too scary.
